Why You Shouldn't Skip Leg Day

Hey, its leg day! While it may (at surface level) seem too tiring and difficult for a regular workout routine, the benefits of strengthening your legs can push you towards the motivation needed to get those reps in!

But, why exactly is leg day so important?

Well, the legs contain major muscles and play an extremely important role in keeping your body fit, allowing you to have optimal athletic performance in your workouts.

When your legs are strong, you're able to keep better balance in your body and create a solid foundation. This translates into your workouts, where keeping your lower body grounded and using that strength helps you to get a better workout in your upper body, as well. We use the strength in our legs to do a multitude of movements both in our workouts AND everyday lives.

Working out your legs can also help to prevent various injuries through better stability and manage certain chronic conditions like arthritis.

You could be missing out on all of these benefits if you skip leg day! In the end, you'll thank yourself for sticking it out!
